The Challenge: Movie Magic Meets History

What do you get when you combine an iconic animated film with the most famous museum in the Netherlands? Pure magic. To celebrate the release of Toy Story 5 and the launch of a brand-new Hallmark card collection, the Rijksmuseum organized an interactive scavenger hunt this summer holiday. Hallmark asked us to create an activation during the kick-off event that brought this collaboration to life in an interactive way.

Our Approach: A Complete Custom Setup

For a special theme like this, we always go all out. No standard screen, but a complete experience. Specially for this event, we built a custom photo activation, including an official Toy Story backdrop and matching flooring. Children could pose with life-sized cardboard blow-ups of their favorite heroes, such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Bullseye. Our professional photographers ensured the perfect angle and lighting, after which the photos instantly rolled out of our high-speed printers in premium quality.

The Result: A Personalized Greeting Card as a Keepsake

The experience didn't stop with the print. On the spot, the photos were slipped into a special Hallmark sleeve, instantly turning the photograph into a unique, personalized greeting card. Children took their own Toy Story adventure home to display in their bedroom or send directly to grandma and grandpa. Thanks to streamlined logistics and a lightning-fast workflow, we provided hundreds of families with an unforgettable and tangible keepsake. A fantastic kick-off to the summer holidays!
